Company History
DR Electrical was started by Leonardo De Rienzo in the 1970s.
He was a young Italian who got into the domestic appliance industry by collecting broken twin tubs. He repaired and sold them through the local paper. He sold his first twin tub for £50. As the business grew he soon opened a repair workshop that concentrated in servicing domestic appliances.
With growth of the extended warranty and the heavy discounting of the large electrical superstores the company had to adapt and compete in the electrical retail sector. With the development of the internet it gave DR Electrical through its applia.co.uk website a good platform to compete on a larger scale.

Applia.co.uk can supply all major domestic appliances: washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers, refrigeration and Vacuum cleaners. All products are new with a standard 12 months manufacturers guarantee. However, depending on the brand and model, some products do come with 2, 5 or even 10 years guarantee!

We deliver products that are in immediate geographically area by our own fleet. The areas where can cannot deliver directly we use the manufacturers home delivery service. This ensures that we can deliver the goods all over mainland Britain. The normal lead time is 7-10 working days. We quote this lead time to be realistic, however it is more likely that your products could arrive in a shorter period of time. We would rather tell you its arriving too early rather than tell you its going to be delayed.
In the unlikely event the product is no longer available due to discontinuation or low stock we will advise on the best alternative. Failing that, you will be entitled to cancel your order.
